The letter "e"

This is my first attempt at photoshop and I think I could have done better, but there is always next time. This is for my DMF class where we had to take a letter and make a composition out of it. I, of course, used the letter e because I am a little biased to that letter. There will be more to come.

Serenity

I was surfing the Internet today and I came across this image and immediately I wanted to be there. It might have been the serenity of the picture that was enticing, I'm not sure. My initial thought was of adventure. For me, I wanted to be there and get lost in an adventure. Maybe it wasn't the adventure that excited me, but the thought of peace. The sound of nature in my ear and not the loud neighbor next door. A place to just be.

New Sight

Everyday I walk by this window to get to my room. The window is huge and has an amazing view. The only thing is I never look out the window because I am so taken by the sunlight coming in. The last couple of days my classes have been taking about space. Not as in outer space, but as in negative space. These windows create interesting shapes that are known as negative space. I want to stand there and look at all the forms it creates, but I'm sure I would get weird stares by people passing by. So instead I took a picture. When a person starts looking at the world through negative space they can see it in a whole new way.

New Start

This is my very first blog. I am hoping that this will be a good creative outlet for me. I made it for class, but I am hoping to keep it going long after the class is over.
